"Lutyens in Hertfordshire"
We were quite overwhelmed at the demand for tickets for Dr Mervyn Miller's talk. - some 120 people were present. Particular thanks go to Rev'd Jim Pye, the Rector of St Martin's Church for allowing us to use such an appropriate venue. We have been able to make a donation of £100 to the Church, as an expression of our appreciation.

Tennis Club Visit in May
Knebworth Tennis Club are busy making plans for the visit of 15 members from the Châtelaillon Tennis Club in May. They will arrive at Stansted in the evening of Friday, May 28th.

On Saturday 29th they will visit Wimbledon and the Tennis Museum and that evening there will be a Barn Dance - everyone is welcome (see below).

On Sunday 30th they will challenge their English counterparts in a Tournament on the Knebworth Recreation Grounds. Matches start at 2.00pm. Do come along and support them!

A joint venture and a chance to meet our French visitors!
During the visit, KTA and Knebworth Tennis Club are organising a

Hooray! Barn Dance

We are pleased to say that Pete Skiffin has agreed to return as caller after the highly successful dance we held in 2002. Details on the application form below.
Supper is included (please state your choice of chips with fish or vegetarian option when you order tickets) and there will be a Pay Bar and a Raffle. Please let us have your applications by 21st May so that we can finalise catering arrangements.

Visit to Chatelaillon-Plage
29 KTA members will be in Chatelaillon for the official visit Thursday July 1st to Sunday, 4th, or Monday, 5th. Some will travel from Stansted to La Rochelle by Ryanair while others are going for a longer holiday by car, stopping off in Châtel to join the group for the long weekend.

Best wishes,

Joy Hall, Chairman.
