Entries into our directories are divided into two types, non-commercial and commercial.

Non-commercial entries are free of charge and are broadly explained as any information of general interest, which describes or advertises any service, event or enterprise which is non-profit making or for a charitable cause.

Commercial entries are subject to the charges described below and are broadly explained as any information or advertisement leading to a service, business or other profit making enterprise.

There are exceptions to both categories, which can be discussed with the Editor. The Editor reserves the right to make the final decision on whether an entry is non-commercial or commercial and to refuse any entry.

Charges for Commercial Entries

12 Months Free STANDARD New Entry
 
New Entries - Any entry started since 31st October 2010
To have your shop, service or business' details included, free of charge for 12 months, send a request via our online form, your entry will be displayed, free of charge for 12 months; thereafter a nominal fee of just £12.00 per year will be charged. If you want to include a link to your web page or web site, please see below for charges.
 
Existing Entries - All entries expire on 31st October, thereafter a nominal fee of just £12.00 per year will be charged. If you want to include a link to your web page or web site, the fee will be a total of £18.00 per year, please see below for charges.

Additional Entries - Extra entries of the same information into a different category are charged at an additional 25% of the annual fee.

Charges for Web Pages and Web Sites

INTEGRATED WEB PAGE
You design a single page advertisement, which we convert to be suitable for publication and integration into the Knebworth Village web site See Example. There is a one off charge of £25.00 for this service.

Directory entries linked to integrated web pages are displayed, free of charge for 12 months; thereafter a fee of £18.00 per year will be charged.

SINGLE WEB PAGE
We will register your domain name eg. www.yourname.co.uk then convert your design ideas into a suitable form for web publication and publish it as a single web page See Example. There is a one off charge of only £50.00 for this service plus a £65.00 per year fee for hosting and domain name renewal. Domain names are only rented from the appropriate registering authority, who charge an annual renewal fee.

Directory entries with links to a single web page are displayed, free of charge for 12 months; thereafter a fee of £18.00 per year will be charged.

FULL WEB SITE
For full exposure, to local consumers and the world wide web, we will register your domain name eg. www.yourcompany.com then design and publish a full professional web site See Example. There is a minimum, one off charge of only £100.00 for this service, plus a £65.00 per year fee for hosting and domain name renewal. Domain names are only rented from the appropriate registering authority, who charge an annual renewal fee.

Directory entries with links to a full web site are displayed, free of charge for 12 months; thereafter a fee of £18.00 per year will be charged.

Annual Renewals

All renewals are on October 31st when pro rata charges are made eg. if your STANDARD entry is first included into the directory on 1st July, the renewal cost in October will be £4.00 to cover the whole of the next year. If your entry is first included on 1st February and is linked to your SINGLE WEB PAGE or WEB SITE the renewal cost in October will be £12.00 to cover the whole of the next year. Extra entries of the same information into a different category are charged at 25% of the annual fee.
